Jordan Robinson

Video Tribute to my brother

Recently, my younger brother was honored at his high school in Palm Bay, Florida. They had a special service and retired his high school jersey. Jordan was not only a great athlete (1000+ plus points) but a Christ-like example. Throughout the video, Jordan's testimony is shared. This video is special to me and my family remembering and honoring Jordan's special life. I miss him everyday. One day we'll get to hang out again...

Special News Article on my brother

My Mom shared with me yesterday of a nice article written about Jordan. The Greenville News did a write up on Jordan's story. Click HERE for the full story.

ANDERSON -- Jordan Robinson was, his brother says, a person who loved to do "guy stuff."

That's why he was fairly chomping at the bit last summer as thoughts of an impending hunting trip to Alaska swirled through his head.

"He was totally stoked," said Jeff Robinson, of Taylors. "For a guy 20 years old to be told that he was going to have the opportunity to go to Alaska and hunt for grizzly (bear) - there aren't many things to top that."

Jordan never got to go.

He passed away last Aug. 19 - five days shy of his 21st birthday - leaving behind a close-knit family, including three brothers, a bevy of friends from Louisiana to Florida and many places between, and plenty of sweet memories.

I am so thankful for Jordan and his life. He is a continual reminder to me of living for Christ no matter what life throws at you.

My Hero

I am privileged to have a great family. If you know my family, you know what I'm talking about. God has blessed me with parents and brothers who follow Christ. My brother, Jordan is my hero and motivation everyday to pursue my calling to lead others to faith in Christ. If you did not know, my brother went to be with Jesus in August after his battle with cancer.

Recently, Jordan was honored at North Greenville University where he played basketball. The coach and players had a special time to remember Jordan's life. They retired his #20 jersey and my family was given his jersey in a special frame. I wish I was able to be there. My Dad prayed before the game and it was an encouraging time for them to honor Jordan. Here is the article for you to read.

Words cannot describe how much I miss my brother. I do not understand why, but I am learning to cling to the only hope for life and eternity, Jesus Christ.
